Flame-resistant clothing can be stiff, tight, hot and uncomfortable, which means workers take it off as soon as their supervisors are out of sight, defeating the purpose of FR clothing. We‘ve put our 120 years of workwear experience to use when designing and manufacturing Carhartt FR clothing. As a result, our FR apparel is cut slightly larger for ease of movement and includes details like triple-stitched main seams for durability.Workers can launder our FR clothing as much as they‘d like, provided they follow care instructions, without worrying about the FR chemicals losing their effectiveness.
